The guy sitting on the chair is in charge of the comfort room at the public market. If you're in the market, and you feel that you can't hold it anymore, you go to him, pay him a couple of pesos (I think 5) and you wear those black rubber slippers before "comforting" yourself. :-)
Yeah there's a lot of foreigner expats here. Most of the great beach houses, resorts and bars here are owned by foreigners who marry or live with Pinays half their age. After all, they got the dollars.
yup, dumaguete is not only known for its maginificent scenery, but for the beautiful people as well- beauty on the inside and out. that's how it got its name, from the word dumagit (which means to snatch), coz the Spaniards who first spotted the island were so drawn to the beautiful island girls that they "snatched" them away. :-)
Ok, i'll take your word for it. Gonna try to go there tomorrow :-) And if I spot Jun there, I'll tell him Hi for you. Lots of foreigners hang out at Coco Amigos. Great view.
